A tradition of music, faith and formation since 1978.
Pilar Music Academy is the music ministry of the Society of Pilar's Goa Province — a charitable institution dedicated to preserving Goa's musical heritage.
Rooted in Goa. Written in music.
Established in 1978, Pilar Music Academy serves as the academic umbrella for the Society of Pilar's music schools at Pilar, Porvorim, Margao, Sanguem & Curchorem, Agonda, Velim and Nuvem. The academy provides structured music education through experienced faculty, practical training, performances and music theory.
Our teaching combines the discipline of grade-aligned syllabi (Trinity College London and ABRSM) with the warmth of the Pilarian charism — service, community and cultural stewardship.
To become a leading institution dedicated to preserving Goa's musical heritage while nurturing talented musicians with excellence, creativity and values.
